The power of choice
I was just listening to a podcast from the Citylife church website on the Eve, The power of choice by Nicole Conner and was so blown away by the things she said, especially this last bit at the end I’ve typed out below.
The transformation process is a process, it’s a journey, it’s something we partner with the Holy Spirit on. We come to meetings like this and God puts some seed in our lives and our hearts. Don’t let the everyday life now as you go out steal that… Don’t let the enemy snatch what God has started to do in your life. Sometimes we get so caught on method, “well I need to do this, I need to do that”, sometimes you just need to put aside and say “Holy spirit, help me to protect what you’re doing in my life”. Don’t let bitterness, don’t let anger, don’t let offence, don’t let circumstance steal what’s happening right now…

It was about Eve, about the women, about our place in God’s created world, about hurts, about circumstances, about the ‘grass is greener on the other side’ syndrome, about so many other things that I needed to hear. I fully recommend listening to the podcast if you have about 30mins to spare. I listened to it while cutting my nails and ironing my laundry
